Catchments, Corridors
and Coasts presented by the Australian Association
for Environmental Education (WA). This
three-day program provides a ‘snapshot’ of environmental
education in WA. Learn about environmental issues, what is
being done by community groups and various levels of government,
what resources are available and how we can all work together
for a better environment. Registrations now open. Community
volunteers can apply for a scholarship to attend.

garden grow? Workshop
This workshop aims to provide knowledge and tools to deliver
good and informed advice to customers, community groups,
and the general public about local, national, environmental,
noxious and declared weeds. It will assist you to educate
the general public in how to protect their environment as
they garden.It is designed for all production and retail
nursery staff, council or environmental weeds officers,
TAFE Teachers, community garden group leaders, Landcare
and Bushcare, other DPI or NRM staff, staff in Government
Departments concerned with the environment. Cost: $200

What pesky plant
is that? Workshop
This very practical hands-on workshop focussed
on identifying environmental weeds will introduce the 'Environmental
Weeds of Australia' Lucid key which will be an invaluable
resource to all those involved with research, training and
management of environmental weeds in Australia, especially
State and local weed control officers, Bushcare and Landcare
volunteers. This product also provides an extremely valuable
teaching resource for students (University, TAFE and Secondary
schools).Cost: $200
