Community Landcare Officer
Inspired by the likes of David Attenborough and Rachel Carson, Abbie is a passionate member of SERCUL. A beloved member of the organisation and mushroom aficionado, Abbie started off in the Environmental Services team learning hands-on management techniques and gaining valuable team leading experience. Abbie is now one of the Community Landcare Officers, so she has seen everything from the literal ground up!
She helps facilitate community landcare events, coordinates projects and writes environmental restoration grant applications. She is also our River Health Improvement Program Officer, in which she assists DBCA in monitoring and maintaining the health of our waterways.
