Caitlin Conway

Water Quality Officer

BSc in Environmental Science (1st Class Honours) and Veterinary Biology, BVMS

Caitlin started at SERCUL as a casual team member for our Environmental Services section. She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and has recently completed her honours at Murdoch University on ‘The effect of drying on sediment and water quality and implications for submerged macrophytes in the Vasse Wonnerup wetlands’.

Caitlin manages the water quality program at SERCUL. As part of this role she constructs water and sediment quality programs, prepares sampling analysis plans, collects water, sediment and macrophyte samples, analyses water quality data and prepares reports. As part of the monitoring and research team at SERCUL, she also assists with research projects, with a particular interest in aquatic ecology research. She also has on-ground experience in bushland and wetland restoration and native and invasive species identification.
