Dr Gun Dolva

Gun has a diverse academic and practical background in science, teaching, community participation, development, and education. With a childhood spent roaming forests in Scandinavia, she has developed a passion for lifelong learning about nature and connecting people to nature through experiences based on scientific knowledge and care for nature. Although most of her career has been in the VET sector, she has worked on diverse industry projects with government and private organisations and is or has been an active member of several scientific, community and industry groups or organisations. Most of her industry work has focused on assessment of disturbed terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and their restoration.  Gun contributes to SERCUL by providing scientific evaluation, reporting and assessments, ecological sustainability advice as well as the development of training programs.
