Sarah has 2.5 years of experience as an environmental consultant focussing mainly on environmental impact assessments and government approvals for mining projects. During her years as a consultant, Sarah gained skills and experiences in bushfire approvals, impact assessment for the resources and urban development sectors, and in ecology (predominantly in flora and vegetation surveys i.e. weed mapping, targeted surveys, detailed surveys). Sarah also has experience in field based environmental maintenance working with the Green Army, as well volunteer experience working with Flatback Turtles in Port Hedland, undertaking water quality sampling at Perth Zoo and assisting in surveying the Snake-necked turtle.
Sarah joined SERCUL in August 2020 and manages the various water quality sampling programs that SERCUL is involved with in several sub-catchment areas, some of which are in partnership with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.Back to Staff
