    Learn how to economically and ecologically manage a sudden outbreak of a new aquatic weed and also develop a plan to control long term aquatic weed
    invasions and much more.

    This subsidised one day training course for Weed Management Operators is run by aquatic weed consultant, Julie Robert.

    All participants will receive a copy of the Aquatic Weed Management Training Manual.

    Cost – $110 inc GST

    Morning tea and lunch provided.

    Community Science Conference 15 May 2020, Tompkins on Swan

    Be inspired! Join land care practitioners, scientists and community volunteers come together to celebrate how community make a difference in caring for our unique flora and fauna, learn from traditional owners and build community.  This one day event will bring speakers from all walks of ecological restoration land care, natural resource management and environmental education who will share their experiences and give you a chance to learn, connect and build community.

    • Science and community working together
    • Learning from the land; a traditional owners perspective and knowledge sharing
    • Plants and animals; learning from each other to protect our unique flora and fauna
    • Bringing community together for a common goal

  • AGLG Planting and Weeding Day

    In partnership with the Friends of Jacqueline Drive, AGLG will be planting seedlings and/or weeding (weather dependant) along the banks of the Canning River. Meet at the corner of Jacqueline Drive and Ravenhill Rd, look for the AGLG sign.

    Morning tea provided. Please BYO gloves and wear appropriate clothing for the weather (e.g. long sleeve shirts, raincoats, hats and gum boots). Come for an hour or the whole morning; your time makes a big difference!
