Environmental/Conservation Field Technician (Casual)

We are currently seeking to employ Casual Environmental Field Technicians who are passionate about the conservation of the diverse bushlands, wetlands and waterways of the greater Perth region to join our Environmental Services Team in the on-ground delivery of environmental restoration projects.

Our clients include local governments, state government agencies, community groups and the private sector. We also have a large grants program where we design and implement revegetation projects.

The main duties of these roles will include:

• Chemical control of environmental weeds in bushland and revegetation areas
• Manual removal of environmental weeds in bushland and revegetation areas
• Planting native seedlings in revegetation areas
• Maintenance of bushland and revegetation areas
• Installation of erosion control measures such as jute matting, coir mesh and coir logs

Typical work hours are 6.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. Most work is within the Perth metropolitan area, with our depot based in Beckenham.
