SERCUL QUARTERLY COMMUNITY FORUM

February 13 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC+8

2025 SERCUL QUARTERLY COMMUNITY FORUM
All forums start at 10am until approximately 12 noon.

Date: 13th February
Host: City of South Perth
Venue: Civic Centre, Cnr Sandgate St and South Tce, South Perth

Our guest speakers for the forum are Jacquie Bellhouse and Jeremy Maher from the Water Corporation.  Jacquie and Jeremy will be presenting on Climate change projections for Perth and species selection. They will examine what information and guidance is available to assess the risk Climate Change represents to Perth’s water resources and environments. They will showcase a pilot tool that visualises the vulnerabilities of Perth’s urban form, demonstrating its use in supporting decision-making for building resilient urban liveability and ecosystems.  They will also provide examples of how past climate data combined with future projections can create a useful narrative. This narrative will help urban planners and natural resource managers make informed decisions, including selecting species capable of enduring a range of plausible temperatures and water availability scenarios.

Please RSVP to Amy Krupa – amykrupa@sercul.org.au by the Monday before the Community Forum is to be held for catering purposes.
