Activities and Projects
SERCUL provides ideas of cross curricula environmental projects or activities linked to the National Curriculum Framework across three themes:

Caring for Local Bushlands
- Environmental vision
- To promote awareness and understanding of local bushlands
- To protect existing local bushlands
- To develop new habitat for local plants and animals
- Protect bushlands and wetlands from degrading processes. eg. develop weed control and eradication measures or to protect bushland from dieback disease School communities might decide to restore or rehabilitate an area of local bushland. Some schools have bushland on site at school. Their hands-on learning can happen without leaving the school grounds! Where ever the bushland is – taking on a bushland restoration or rehabilitation project is a large, long term commitment

Caring for Wetlands and Waterways
- Environmental vision
- To promote awareness and understanding of local wetlands and waterways
- To protect existing local wetlands and waterways
- To develop new habitat for local plants and animals
- To protect and restore water quality
