MOZZIE WISE: A Teacher’s Guide to Mosquito Education was written to support SERCUL’s ‘Mozzie Wise’ program. It is believed that through community education and awareness, the impact of mosquitoes can be reduced.
The Guide is linked to the relevant Science Learning Area of the Australian Curriculum. These content descriptions can be found on each student page to make planning easier for teachers. The Guide is broken into several sections, beginning with clear background information, outcomes, vocabulary, useful websites and additional activities to support the student pages which follow. Answers for student activities have also been provided at the end of the book, where appropriate.
