Since Fiona completed her part-time astrophysics doctorate (star formation in nearby galaxies), she has had more time to devote to causes close to her heart. Preserving the amazing bushland that we have in our region is very important to Fiona so, as well as leading the Bushmead Conservation Cobbers, she has been on the Board of SERCUL since 2020. Fiona is inspired by the great work that our fabulous volunteer groups and SERCUL do year after year.
Fiona’s employment background includes 15 years in the finance/banking industries, including three years in training roles. She enjoys utilising her skills and experience in her role as SERCUL’s Treasurer.
