Canning Community Landcare Officer
Bsc in Conservation Biology.
Catherine White has always been passionate about the environment and has volunteered both locally and overseas for ten years before starting at SERCUL. After graduating in 2019 with a Bsc in ‘Conservation Biology’ from UWA, she worked in land care and restoration for over two years prior to starting at SERCUL in 2022.
Her time at APACE nursery has given her great knowledge of native plant propagation and installation. She has worked extensively with provenance species and uses this knowledge as a foundation for her projects as the Canning Community Landcare officer. Her role has her work with community groups in the City of Canning to write grants for and support community restoration projects.
