Abstract: This book is organised into three main parts. After this brief introduction, the first section illustrates the main features of the Brixton Street Nature Reserve and exemplifies seasonal changes. The second section traces the history and accomplishments of the Friends Group. The third section showcases over one hundred fifty images of fungi, non-vascular and vascular plants, and invertebrate as well as vertebrate fauna of the reserve.

About the author (2016)
Dr. Subas Dhakal is a Lecturer at Curtin University. He is a photography enthusiast and has formal trainings in Conservation Management (BSc: Missouri Western State-USA) as well as Environmental Management (MSc: Mahidol-Thailand). After completing PhD in Sustainability Policy (Murdoch, WA) in 2010, he has been working as a management academic in the field of sustainable development. A migrant from Nepal, Subas has been affiliated with the Friends of Brixton Street Wetlands as an environmental volunteer/conservation photographer for nearly a decade and is a current secretary of the group.
